These people are the reason for our success and clear reputation. They have years of experience and absolute dedication in what they do.
Mr. Shivpuri, a 94 year - old social worker, belongs to a Kashimiri family. From childhood, he was inclined towards social service. He started his career as a radio repairer in Lucknow. Later he finished his education as Master of Social Work. He also actively participated in the freedom struggle.
He worked as an advisor to the Government of Nepal for two years, and as Adult Educationist at Lucknow for thirty years. He made Kumaon his work-land after retirement, co-created Shivpuri Educational Trust, and devoted his whole life to the welfare of the society.
Mr. Shivpuri is a companion of Udupiwala’s since its days of struggle. In every difficult situation, he has inspired us to move forward. We look forward to seeing his kindness.
Mr. Permashwar Narayan Shivpuri
Mrs. Doris Shivpuri is a famous social worker of the society. She was born in Denmark in a farmer family. She started her career as a school teacher. She met Mr. Shivpuri in Denmark in her college days. After twenty years of marriage, she conducted a Kindergarten for the welfare of the local community in Lucknow.
She made Kumaon her work-land after retirement, co-created Shivpuri Educational Trust, and devoted her whole life to the welfare of the society.
Mrs. Shivpuri is a companion of Udupiwala’s since its days of struggle. In every difficult situation, she has inspired us to move forward. We look forward to seeing her kindness.
Mrs. Doris Shivpuri
Mr. Mohit Satyanand is an entrepreneur, a consultant, and an investor. After an M.A. in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, he joined Hindustan Lever as a management trainee, moving 4 years later to Delhi Flour Mills, where he established India’s first successful snack food brand, Crax.
Formerly consulting editor of Outlook Money, he is presently the Chairman at Teamwork Arts, Managing partner at Magic Mountain Investments, and Director at Amrit Corp Ltd, and Inlingua New Delhi.
He is an active angel investor and mentor to several start-ups in health, education and consumer goods. Mr. Satyanand has been a well-wisher of Udupiwala from its earliest days, and provided us guidance along our journey.
Mr. Mohit Satyanand
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Sunil K. Sharda is presently the CEO at Himalayan Products & Ind. Corp. Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Sharda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University. Apart from this, Mr. Sharda is also the Director on Board of Sharda Organics Pvt. Ltd. for more than 37 years.
His cooperation has always inspired Udupiwala to move forward, and even today we get his guidance at all times.
Mr. Sunil K. Sharda
Mr. Narain is an accomplished CEO at Century Pulp and Paper, a division of Century Textiles and Industries Ltd. He is a B.Tech. graduate from Gujarat Agriculture University, Anand, Gujarat. After this, he augmented his management skills through Diploma in Management (PGPEX) from Indian Institute of Management (IIM-C).
He is a passionate leader, who believes in a system-oriented approach, and gives us a good knack for cost reduction operations.
Apart from his robust business skills, Mr. Narain accords us with practical advice & mentors the team to maintain high standards.
His decades of experience in divergent industries has enhanced our knowledge related to food and its operations combined, keeping customer satisfaction at par.
We are grateful to receive his invaluable contribution to the progress of Udupiwala.
Mr. Jaiprakash Narain
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Rajeev Mathur is presently the Additional Director in Goodcare Pharma Pvt Ltd., Dehradun, a group company of Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhavan Ltd., Kolkata.
He is a Chartered Accountant, and has the longest work tenure at Century Pulp and Paper, a B.K. Birla Group of Companies, and retired as the Head, Finance and Accounts. During his tenure there, he handled four major expansions.
Mr. Mathur is a simple person, taking life as it comes and loves to enjoy every moment. Under his guidance, whenever needed, Udupiwala has stood firm as a leading restaurant brand today, overcoming all odds.
Mr. Rajeev Mathur
With over 36 years of rich and diverse Academic and Industrial experience in the Public and Private Sector, Prof. Pande is presently the Dean (Academics) at the Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Morabadad.
Prof. Pande holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from BIT Mesra with honors, M.Tech degree in Remote Sensing from Roorkee University (Gold Medalist), and a Ph.D. in Management.
Seasoned Academic Administrator with over 20 years experience in establishing institutions with strategic planning, he mentors various organizations, start-ups and NGOs. He has been instrumental in launching the first mobile hospital - a one of its kind to provide medical facilities in the doorsteps of the rural regions of the hills of Uttarakhand. He has been overseeing skills of the drop-out youth of the State through industry connect, whereby over 10,000 youth have been skilled, while being supported with stipend by the Industry.

Prof. Krishna Kumar Pande
Mr. Bappa Ray is a well-known documentary filmmaker in the country. He has been working among rural and tribal communities, documenting their lifestyles and livelihoods for the last 35 years. Mr. Ray has received many National Awards in the field of Visual Anthropology/ Ethnography.
Mr. Ray is a companion of Udupiwala’s since its days of struggle. In every difficult situation, he has inspired us to move forward. We look forward to his support in the future.
